DOTS (Dance On The Spectrum)

DGAD is proud to support families who have children on the spectrum with autism and other special needs. Our mission is to create an atmosphere that allows ALL kids to be a kid. Engaging in sensory play is a fun way for kids on the autism spectrum to stimulate their brains so they can become better learners, benefit from a longer attention span, and learn how to communicate with their peers.  - Improves gross motor skills- Enhances nonverbal expression- Uses teaching techniques learned through years of therapies and involvement with special education classes- Utilizes proactive and reactive strategies in behavior modification- Fun and exercise with music and movement
Children 5 and under would benefit greatly from our Creative Jam Program.
