Founder
Paula Perry-Szyndler has an Associate of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance. Paula has been teaching for forty years. She enjoys teaching master classes, choreographing, and judging for many studios and competitions in the United States. Her choreography has been seen on many television benefit specials, faculty shows at national dance competitions, Miss Massachusetts, Miss Rhode Island, and Little Miss Pageants. Several of Paula's dance students have gone on to perform in NYC, dancers in Contemporary Dance Companies, perform as an NFL Cheerleader, Disney dancer, Celtics dancer, Wizard of Oz, The Nutcracker, 42nd Street, danced with Gregory Hines, and have been accepted into the Alvin Ailey Company. While others have received their degree in dance and now are either performing or teaching at many studios in the New England Area.

Miss Jazzmine

Educational Director
Jazzmine Szyndler has been training for 25 years with a strong focus on technique. After attending Dean College for two years she moved to New York City to further her education and training. Miss Jazzmine graduated from two professional programs at the world-renowned Broadway Dance Center, and since graduating in 2015 she has since danced for artists such as Paula Abdul, Aretha Franklin, Good Morning America with Dancing With the Stars, Ru Paul's Drag Race winners Bianca Del Rio and Shangela, L'oreal Paris, The Research Foundation to Cure Aids. In 2016 Miss Jazzmine was the principle dancer in the premiere of the new Contemporary Ballet Company "The Orsano Project" where the company was named Season 2 winners of New York's Got Talent. This year she had the honor of dancing at the Capezio Ace Awards in New York City and was later asked to perform for Brian Friedman's The Main Event. Miss Jazzmine's work has lead her to win many choreography awards as well as "choreographer of the year" her work has also received the highest honor of top score the entire dance competition. This year Miss Jazzmine's work can now be seen on The Broadway Dance Centers Professional Semester students, you can also catch Miss Jazzmine as a Co-Director of New York Cities Junior Professional Training Program "Koin&Co".

Miss Delaney

Delaney Inman is an aspiring dancer/choreographer from Rhode Island, with a true passion for performing and creating. She trains in a variety of styles such as Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop, and many more. She is currently training with companies and crews such as Boston Community Dance Project (BCDP GLOBAL), Livelihood, and Providence Ballet Theatre where she has been given opportunities to guest teach and showcase in events all over the North East. Delaney plans to continue her journey of dance in the professional industry and beyond! Delaney is an energetic, enthusiastic teacher who focuses on developing the entire dancer. Her passion is in the classroom and she strives to share her knowledge and experience with all of her students.

 Coach Jaime

Jaime Kavanagh is from East Providence, where she grew up training in various styles of dance, gymnastics and cheering. Jaime graduated from Rhode Island College with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. Jaime is currently a first-grade teacher at Achievement First Providence Mayoral Academy. Jaime is proud to be an alum of the New England Revolutions soccer team as a Rev Girl. Jaime's latest accomplishment is receiving her certification of personal training where she plans to coach her clients here at DGAD to reach their personal goals. Jaime's very invested in her students and continues to look forward to training her gymnasts and dancers here at DGAD.

Mr. Jason

Jason Berube began his training in the fundamental styles of popping, waving, and locking. At 15, he started choreographing for competitions and showcases out of Spotlight Dance Studio in Taunton, MA. Through his progressions as a student and upcoming choreographer, he was able to travel throughout New England setting competition pieces and teaching intensives. Jason is now a member of MOTUS The Company, directed by Diana Motos; He also trains and competes with Professional Hip-Hop crew LIV3LIHOOD at Thr3elive Dance Complex. His style of dance has evolved into a hybrid of fast-paced, complex choreo and flowy, groovy steps. He always comes into class with hopes of learning more about his students while growing and evolving the culture around him. Oh, and the most important thing he strives to achieve in class is having fun!

Miss Keira

Keira Tavares is from North Dartmouth. Keira's love for dancing started at I've Got Rhythm Dance Center, training in Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, and Jazz under the direction of Sharon Fernandes. Keira is a sophomore elementary education major. Keira starting her dance career by assisting Miss Sharon in class at the age of 14, Within the last few years Keira trained under the direction of our very own Susan, where we all saw her blossom into an amazing dancer. Keira is excited to be back with the DGAD family that instilled her love and passion for dance, as she hopes to do for her own students.

Miss Selena

Selena Arruda is from North Dartmouth, where she grew up training in various styles of dance at our original studio, The Dancer's Edge. Selena has performed at Hershey Park, Universal Studios, and Disney World. Selena has performed for the community at nursing homes, parades and festivals. Selena is a certified pre-school teacher and is in her third year at Bridgewater State University where she is majoring in Special Education and Psychology with a minor in Dance. Selena has recently received the honor of being captain of the Bridgewater Dance Team.

Miss Susie

Susan Szyndler has been dancing for 23 years and started her professional career at the age of 10. Susan graduated from Dean College in 2015. While at Dean College she was a member of the Women Step Team, Dean College performance company as well as the Dean College Dance Company. She has won several title awards for her performance in dance and many choreography awards as an educator. Miss Susan has toured as a company dancer with Dance Theatre USA. She has performed for Paula Abdul, at Walt Disney World, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and Hershey Park. Susan was featured in the instructional hip-hop video for The Boyz. She has recently just moved back home from living and training in the professional division at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Susan has received a plethora of information this past semester having studied both the academic aspect of dance knowledge and the physical forms of dance. She has been blessed to work with many amazing dance idols and has so much she wishes to share with all of you.
